ABOUT

Trinity and the Pope Closed at the end of October

Sandy made us close earlier then we wanted but that’s mother nature.

We truly thank all of you for your support. The Good Times Really Rolled. We’ll miss you here.

After Sandy Update:

The storm hit the boardwalk very hard. We are not expecting to be able to reopen for a couple of weeks. Please check out our facebook page for more up to date information.

Langosta and most of the businesses on the boardwalk were hit with a lot of water damage. The power had to be pulled out of all the buildings and we are waiting for it to be replaced. After that we will be rethinking some of the infrastructure of our restaurants there to make them even better than before.

Presently-

WE have reopened Dauphin Grille at  the Berkeley Hotel. We are serving a Buffet Breakfast and Lunch and Dinner with an evolving menu. At the present time we will be open 7 days a week. We will be serving a mixture of our bar menu, the Dauphin Menu and dishes from our other restaurants (closed because of the storm) Labrador Lounge, Langosta Lounge  and Pop’s Garage.

Check out Dauphin Grille on facebook.

Trinity and the Pope refers to the common ingredients between the different cuisines of Louisiana: Creole, Cajun and the Nouvelle New Orleans Cuisines.

Trinity is the bell peppers, onions and celery. The Pope is garlic.

Trinity and The Pope is located at Mattison Ave. at the corner of Bond Street in Asbury Park, NJ. Housed in a bank building that dates back to 1919, the New Orleans-inspired restaurant has an old-world charm that is a perfect match for Asbury Park’s eclectic, downtown vibe.

Trinity and The Pope’s brick exterior and etched-glass entryways give way to warm, Bayou-inspired hues and dramatic décor, including an inviting fireplace and towering chandelier. Menu items include New Orleans staples like gumbo and jambalaya, along with creative takes on the cuisines of Louisiana. A ground-level and upstairs bar house the restaurant’s extensive wine list and sophisticated cocktail selection.

Whether stopping by to dine, lounge or celebrate with friends, Trinity and The Pope is sure to transport patrons to a different time and place!
